XIth BIENNAL EARA CONFERENCE
1st Announcement
European Association for Research on Adolescence
Turin University – Italy
May 7-10, 2008
http://www.eara2008torino.eu/
This is to invite you to the XIth EARA Conference in Turin, Italy. EARA was officially founded in 1991. Since 1988, EARA has had biennial conferences in Europe. It is an international association that comprises researchers (psychologists, psychiatrists, and sociologists) who study adolescent development. The biennial conferences give researchers the opportunity to connect with each other, to keep up with what others are doing, and with opportunities and activities of interest, and to develop joint ventures. As organizers of the XIth EARA Conference, we would like to welcome all those who want to learn more about adolescence. This conference will bring together colleagues from all over the world to share their experiences, present their research and projects, and establish a warm, friendly atmosphere among professionals who devote themselves to the study of adolescence. The programme will cover all research domains dealing with adolescent development. The University of Turin was founded in 1404. The Department of Psychology in Turin was first founded in 1906 by Federico Kiesow as an Institute of General and Applied Psychology. Situated in the north-west of Italy, Turin is an ideal holiday destination, but also a perfect stop-off on a longer trip, thanks to the access roads and efficient transport systems that provide excellent land and air links from all principal European cities.
We hope to welcome you next year in Turin!
Peter Noack - EARA President
Silvia Ciairano & Silvia Bonino - Conference Chairs
