Loss of Prof. Augusto Palmonari

With great sorrow, we communicate the loss of Prof. Augusto Palmonari, Emeritus at the University of Bologna, Italy.
Augusto was a marvelous mentor, a great colleague, and a sincere friend. He largely contributed to the development of EARA and he chaired together with his colleagues one of the first EARA conferences (in Bologna, 1992). In 2008, he was awarded with the EARA Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the study of adolescence.
We feel a deep sense of gratitude for having had the chance to learn from him, to work with him, and to get stimulated by his sincere passion for the study of adolescence. We wish to keep his legacy alive.
