The EARA 2018 conference in Ghent will be on Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 September 2018.
Conference venue will be at our faculty (Faculty of Psychology & Educational Sciences; Henri Dunantlaan 2, 9000 Ghent, Belgium).

2017 EADP-EARA-SRA Summer School

The call for applications for the 2017 EADP-EARA-SRA Summer School is now open. You can apply until March 15, 2017.

The European Association for Developmental Psychology (EADP) is pleased to announce that the abstract submission website is now open for the 18th biannual European Conference on Developmental Psychology (ECDP2017) to be held August 29 – September 1, 2017 with pre-conference workshops on August 28 and August 29, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
We welcome submissions for Paper presentations, Poster presentations, Paper symposia, and Poster symposia, and encourage proposals from a wide variety of disciplines on topics related to human development. The abstract submission deadline is February 13, 2017.
We are pleased to announce the keynote speakers for ECDP2017: Rutger Engels, Catrin Finkenauer, Elliot Turiel, Henry Wellman, and Sonia Livingstone.

ISSBD 2018

The 2018 Conference of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD) will run from 15 – 19th July 2018 on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. From early 2017 students and scholars are invited to submit abstracts on their research for selection to be part of the scientific program. Research on all segments of lifespan development are welcome.

EARA awards

The European Association for Research on Adolescence (EARA) has awarded Wim Meeus and Stefanie Nelemans two major awards.

Professor Wim Meeus has been awarded the EARA Lifetime Achievement Award 2016. This award is given biennially by the European Association for Research on Adolescence to one scholar whose overall program of work has had a significant impact on our understanding of development and behavior during adolescence. The EARA Lifetime Achievement Award was founded in 2004 to honor EARA’s founding president. Read more…
