Special membership offer
We would like to offer all participants of the 12th conference of the European Association for Research on Adolescence in Vilnius the EARA 2010-2011 membership for a special rate. You can become an EARA two-year full member and only pay the reduced Journal of Adolescence subscription rate. Thus you only pay € 85 for 2 years instead of € 150 for 2 years. Students pay only € 15 for a period of 2 years (student members can opt to receive the Journal of Adolescence, in that case the special biennial membership fee is € 85). In addition, this allows you to register for the conference at the reduced EARA member registration fee. The combined fee for the EARA conference and EARA membership is € 315. In keeping with the SRA/ EARA relationship and to strengthen membership SRA’s Council recently approved a student discount for SRA membership for EARA student members. The discount is 20% off of the Student Journal price. Starting October 1st, you can profit from this benefit for 2009 memberships. Zena Mello, a previous Student Representative on SRA Council and EARA member, was the active voice in bringing this to fruition. Members will be informed by email on how to profit from this reduced fee.
Awards
During the XIth EARA conference, Koen Luyckx received the Young Scholar Award. Harke Bosma and Augusto Palmonari received the Alexander E. Jackson honorary lifetime membership award.
