EARA Student and Early Career Network
Students belonging to the EARA are organized as the EARA Student and Early Career Network. The main aim is to connect students from various countries in Europe and the whole world, to circulate information and to offer a basis for mutual exchange of ideas and discussion.

Once you join EARA as a student member, you automatically become a member
of the Student and Early Career network (SECNet). If you do not want this
additional membership, you can email us to unsubscribe. You can visit the
SECNet website here. The SECNet enables students and early career researchers to make contact with many other emerging scholars who may work in the same field; to find students who have already finished their PhD and who can be contacted for advice; as well as providing access to senior scientists who have volunteered to answer questions in the area of their expertise. But not all contact is virtual: EARA students meet at conferences, organize symposia together (on many conferences a presentation can only be given if an entire symposium is submitted - often a problem for juniors who lack contact to other researchers in the field), and may have the opportunity to take part in EARA summer schools. As a member of the SECNet you also receive news and information by email regarding university positions, conferences, or opportunities for funding your own projects.
If you have a question regarding the SECNet, or would like to join as a postdoctal member, please email eara.secnet@gmail.com or jesymonds@gmail.com.
