The phrase Céad míle fáilte – a hundred thousand welcomes – is heartfelt in Ireland, and we look forward to welcoming you to the 18th EARA conference scheduled to take place in the last week of August 2022.
Ireland is a large island off the West Coast of Europe and is home to around 4.8 million people. The island is well known for its beautiful and dramatic landscapes; characterised by mountains, lakes, rivers, and rugged coastlines. Ireland’s Celtic music, dance and stories are unique in the world, as Ireland became the last outpost of a fully Celtic society after the Romans invaded Britain. Dublin is Ireland’s capital city and is marked by a ring of canals and by the Liffey river which runs from Dublin Bay through the length of the city centre. The Wicklow Mountains and Dublin Mountains lie inland and can be viewed from many locations. The main language spoken in Dublin is English.
Whether EARA 2022 is onsite in Dublin or remote – Ireland will be the backdrop to your journey through the exciting three-day event planned. We look forward to the release of the conference website in the first quarter of 2021 where more information on the timeline including abstract submission will be available.
Looking forward to seeing you at EARA 2022!
